Simple connection for 4k and beyond

Works great! It has both high-speed USB-C lanes dedicated to DisplayPort, meaning it can do 4k60 (3840 x 2560 resolution a.k.a "4k" at 60hz) even with devices that only support DisplayPort 1.2, which are surprisingly common.

(Many hubs/docks split the high-speed lanes, allowing for 5gbps USB 3 data, but then the display maxes out at 4k30 with DP 1.2 unless everything in the chain - device, dock, monitor, cables - support a newer DisplayPort version. This is also true for most hubs with HDMI - they use DisplayPort for the computer side of the connection because it's more bandwidth efficient, and then convert it to HDMI in the hub.)

Of course, it also works with DisplayPort 1.4, which I was able to confirm by connecting my laptop to my 5k60 monitor and getting full speed and resolution. While I don't have any monitor that can do 8k or 240hz, I am relatively confident that either would work with this cable.

Physically, it's actually a bit longer than the advertised 6 foot - I measured about 6'4", give or take an inch or two for the connectors.

The housing around the DP connector is 20.7x10.1mm, the USB-C end is 11.8x6.8mm - small enough to connect to my phone with the case on, but perhaps not every phone in every case.

The cable is braided with a nice feel and decently thick at 5mm.

There's not a lot of strain relief at either end, but overall it feels sturdy and reliable.
