Simple to use, great sound, low latency, supports microphones

I'm a big fan of these - and wired headphones in general - there's no batteries to worry about and it's simple and straightforward to connect and disconnect.

I have a nice pair of big Sennheiser open back headphones, and I love the way they sound. With this adapter I can use them with my phone that lacks a headphones jack. (I'm still annoyed at Apple for removing that and everyone else for copying Apple.) Using this adapter, the audio quality is far superior to any pair of bluetooth headphones or earbuds I own.

These adapters also support headphones/microphone adapters. The audio quality was acceptable - good enough for a phone call, but maybe not a podcast. (However that might just be the cheap microphone I was using, I haven't used it much before.)

I'm OK with bluetooth for some cases, but for games or movies, the latency just kills it for me. These wired adapters solve that perfectly. Using the "Earbuds Delay Test" app, my phone (Pixel 9 Pro) has ~50ms of latency. With this adapter and a pair of wired headphones, the latency is equal or perhaps even slightly lower! (With bluetooth, it's generally in the 300-500ms range.)

I also put one of these adapters in our car - wireless Android Auto/Car Play works there, but when my wife and I are both in the vicinity, it's fairly random which one the car will connect to. Since my wife drives a lot more than I do, I just unpaired my phone from the car to make it more reliable for her. With this adapter, I can once again connect my phone, but without having to go through the pairing and un-pairing process each time.

And, since it's a 3-pack, I still have a spare in case anything ever happens to one of the first two!

The connector body / housing on the USB-C end is fairly slim, about 6mm thick and 11mm wide. It fits in my phone case with room to spare, and should fit in most other cases. The headphones end is also fairly thin, ~7mm diameter.

These adapters seem pretty durable. Time will tell, but the adapters have good strain relief (bendy rubber bits on either end) and the cable itself is a decently thick braided cable that feels pretty good.

$9 for three of these feels like a great deal - Apple charges that much for just one, and it looks less durable than these!
