A couple of months after purchasing this battery, the manufacture emailed me asking for a review: "How was the battery? Were there any problems or issues with using the battery? Also, when you were searching for the battery, what keywords did you use? Please feel free to tell us your thoughts on this product." Since I took the trouble to send them a review, I figured I might as well post it here too :)

The battery was extremely easy to install; it fit smoothly in the slot, and it worked perfectly.

Initially, my battery life seemed considerably longer than with my 3-year-old stock battery, maybe 50% longer - I didn't even have to charge the phone every night. After a month or two of use, it now seems longer still, but not as much as I had initially noticed. On the old battery, my phone was frequently dying before the end of a single day's use. The NOOT battery typically lasts through a complete day of use, by often with only 10-15% left at the end of the day. I think I have run it completely dead once or twice, but not nearly as often as with my old stock battery.

I think my phone may also have some kind of software bug, because I'll occasionally pull it out of my pocket after several hours of not using it, and it will be very warm and have lost 30% or more of battery it's life. (Although maybe that's just the weak cell coverage where I live.)

When searching for the battery, I don't recall the exact keywords, but I believe it was something along the lines of "galaxy s iii replacement battery", and then I was looking for the highest mAh that would still fit in a regular case. There were a large number of "OEM" batteries, but I suspected that many of them were fake, and so I decided on the NOOT partially because they were willing to put their own brand name on it. The price was also a factor in my decision, the this wasn't the cheapest, but at ~$10 it was one of the less expensive ones.

5-stars when taking the price into account. I probably would have dinged it a star or two if the price had been higher, because I would like to see a little more life. But at this price, I'm happy :)
