I’m tempted to give this 4 stars just for not having a third act break up because I hate a third act break up every single time. However this book is not for me.
I have enjoyed all of Rachel Lynn Solomon’s books that I have read to date but this one just did not land for me. I think it is partly because I have read other college romances, even one with the hot for teach trope, that I enjoyed more. I have also enjoyed another romance with a pop star FMC. And the other three books I’m thinking of get extra credit from me for have plus size characters and as a big girl myself that matters.
Was this fine? Yeah. Am I sure there are women who will eat this up? Also yes. I’m not one of them though. This one isn’t/wasn’t for me.
