A Discovery of Witches Book Review

I enjoyed this.

It is long but I didn’t find myself loosing interest or getting bored. I want to read more and will be reading the second book.

I enjoy the way she has changed the mythology and lore of vampires, witches, and demons to fit her story/world. All the slow burn romance vibes were nice but they sure committed to each other awfully fast which was a little unbelievable to me. I didn’t love the possessive male/mate vibes but I never do. I tolerated the purring and growling stuff better here than I did by the end of the first three ACOTAR books but I’m only one book in and holding on to hope.
