My son and I enjoyed reading/listening to this book. It is well written/told. As the reader you feel for the kids and for the impossible position they are in, but also you feel how the son and daughter are living into the compassion and curiosity his father raised him with even in very difficult circumstances, even when they are treated unfairly.
