My children absolutely LOVED this book and could not wait to read the next one. We listened to the audiobook and are really familiar with all the fairy tales. It was clearly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ listen for them.
It took me forever to get into this book and even once I did something felt incongruous the entire time. I think is was how the story is being told. I would probably only give it ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️
That being said we’ll settle in the middle at ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
