Cyclists would be better off if this book didn't exist

This book is full of pseudoscience and absolutely terrible, downright harmful advice. It is indirectly responsible for the deaths of countless cyclists by encouraging only infrastructure that treats cyclists as cars and expects them to go at 30 mph, while being dismissive of things like protected bike lanes.

Of the studies the book sites, the author often draws his own conclusions that directly contradict what the study concludes. Others he dismisses merely because he believes the authors weren't "real" cyclists.
