I always feel some trepidation at picking up a Josie Silver story. As I was telling a friend her books usually have a bittersweet tang that sometimes spoils it for me. This however did not. It was still bittersweet but not to the point of spoiling anything.
I’m nervous to say this might be my favorite of her books that I’ve read.
