This was a fun little romp of a YA fantasy romance for me. Enjoying in the audiobook format seemed to work for this book. The writing style felt very intentionally young except the spice. I honestly want more witchy romance with world building. I was a little frustrated with how much was revealed and when. I want to know more about the world but it also felt rushed and like too much at times. I will read more books if they are ever written.
